Sylvaneth

I started a Sylvaneth army because I wanted a more organic army that allowed for a more free form painting style less focused on precision, cleanliness, and blending. Instead the focus is on color usage, using paint to create texture, and painting details that don’t already exist on the models. Working on them makes me feel less like I’m painting by numbers and more like I’m an actual painter. The result is certainly busy, but also colorful and I really enjoy the results.
