Building a Game Room Part 4
Well, kind of. But first...
I know it's been a long time since I posted here, but the process of moving from the bottom of the west coast to the middle-top of it was not a simple one. Frankly, the game room has taken a back seat to almost everything else in the house except for the garage. That being said, I will be posting some progress pics soon.
This post is primarily going to cover a little bonus room I took over. We have this small weird room in the basement with stomach high surfaces, some shelves, and the water shut-off valve. Our plan, originally, was to try to pretend it wasn't there, but as we continued to work on the nice part of the basement, known as the guest room and the game room, I started to worry that all my damn Warhammer crap did not have a place to live. At least not an ideal place. So I started eyeing what I have affectionately started calling the "water room". Here it is, pre-eyeing.
Not pictured to the right are more of that surface top and a couple of shelves running the span of the wall, but this is pretty much the room, dust, grit, cobwebs, and all. Yes, those are concrete blocks holding up those surfaces, so they are serious permanent (as much as anything ever is).
So, I vacuumed this sucker out, cleaned it up, and now I stash all my hobby supplies and unbuilt/in-progress models. Here are some pics of how it looks now!
And just like that this room gets transformed from a creepy place to my new happy place. :)
